reflection and/or relaxation

For this season, Lenten, we habitually go to Tagaytay for a bit of relaxation and a portion of reflection. (The pictures of whatevers will be posted later, within this wek.) Let me do some story-telling.

Days before our trip, we struggled if we were going to go or not. We had no stiff yes from my dad. And he had not given any form of opposition. Wednesday night approached and we felt we were going to Tagaytay. We packed our bags and were ready to say bye to the noisy world of ours. It was really hard for me to decide on what to bring, but I was certain on some things - notebook, phoney, iTouch, digicam and books (including Bible). It was a struggle on what to put in my bag. What clothes? What color? It was really hard to sleep with the situation. I opted stay up for a while, with Bea's help. We played. Thanks. ^_^

Thursday came. After breakfast, we fixed everything we would leave - appliance, stuffs and the house. And, we were ready to go! We used our CR-V. Mang Ramon on the steering wheel, Dad on the other side, Mom on the right and Me on the left. 7:++, and we finally left. The itinerary was plain - Meycauayan - Tagaytay via Silang, Cavite. We avoided SLE and traffic as well. Amazing! Almost 10 in the morning, Tagaytay welcomed me with a sunlight.

Minutes later, they came - Daddy Love, Mommy Love, Gio, Nanny Weng and Kamunggay (LOL). After, Ninang Zeny, Kuya Ude, Ate Ella, Kuya J, Ate Lea, Chubi, Chuchay, and Thirdy followed in a short while. Then, Tito Danny, Tita Bebe, Kuya Dennis, Ate Anna and Darren finally came. Are we complete? Not yet. On the afternoon, Kuya Mike and Ate Abby showed up.

We placed our things to our respective rooms. (Yes, the house is the same house where we held our kick-off party last April 13, 2007!!! Happy Anniv, neutols!!) We held some chatting moments, laughing instances and playing times. Techie kids were the centers of attention. After it all, we had our lunch. Mostly, these were our provisions - adobo, shrimps, butter chicken and everything. Those happy moments continued. Tong-its never perished. We roamed all over the place. We ate dinner and slept. But, before we finally let ourselves be in comfort, we searched the net on where we could swim near our place.

Friday came. My dad was going home. He left us. However, he left me his exit-fee. Okay! Forgiven. He also bought some mango tree-lets (Those are trees but are small.), yesterday. He had to.

After breakfast, we went to Batangas. On our way, we struggled for a beach to swim on. We passed Nasugbu until we reached Lian. There, Matabungkay rushed our attention. They fought for every urge we had. However, we were so meticulous. We were strict on cottages, parking, and all. We found a nice place - a private one. But, the problem was there were still occupants. They would go after lunch. Weirdo. We would pay that heck for 15,000 Pesos for only 5-7 hours. Totally Weirdo! Our hopes was torn down. We moved to its near-by place. No cottages. No adequate parking. No all! What could we do, we were left with this one.

We enjoyed what we had. A nice beach - when you go farther the shore, the seabed goes shallower. I must say. The food was delicious. The people were funny. I enjoyed it however. 2:30, we said our byes to Batangas. We must go back to Tagaytay and some to Meycauayan. Almost 4 PM, we landed our feet to Tagaytay. Traffic hindered us so well. We overcame it by taking the rocky road. Yay! We went to the house to a stunning time! We ate meriendas - breads and some noodles. We took some rest. Yey. They came but with something - mushroom burger. Yum. Hahaha.

After some time, we decided to go to the market. When we went out of the gate of the house, we were shocked to see the ones who were supposed to go back to Meycauayan. We went to the market. We bought pineapples and fish. We went to Silang to go to Rowena's. Pastries and sweets confronted us. We had a struggle on what we buy. However, I chose Blueberry Cheesecake Tart and Jacobina. I was not disappointed. Yum. We finally went home. We needed ice that's why we visited 7-11. Buzz: we saw a comedian. I don't know his name but he can be seen in Channel 5 and previously part of the contest where Pokwang participated. Gio badly wanted Jollibee. Hahaha! We drove-thru the items. I wanted Creamy Macaroni Soup.

At last, we were in Alta Monte. Once again, we saw Jolina's house where she managed to have a garage sale. Procession stopped us from getting home early. Whatever!  It was fun though. The children excitedly ate their chickens and we ate our own. We had an early dinner. I thought. We played tong-its. Yey. I was a bit loser that time. Late 7 and we ate our supposed dinner. Tuna belly? Yum. After, we continued our battles. Second round. Second chance. Yay! It's getting better. Soon, we decided to rest.

I cleaned myself. I went to our room. I couldn't sleep. I was able to find a remedy. My notebook and SmartBro Prepaid could help. I browsed Facebook, Multiply, MapuaOwnage and Yahoo. Almost 30 minutes left and it did not help. Thank God. Bea entertained me again. Hahaha. Wattan entertainer! Finally, sleep and I met.

Sunshine smiled at me and told me a beautiful day is to come. It was bit late. Almost 6 in the morning and I was not ready for an early swimming. Yay! We took a short walk. And, it was so cooooold! with a trembling voice. Yay! We swim in the pool. Amazing. I took my shirt off. Amazing. It was so cold. I swam. Yay! We swam! Yay! They called us for breakfast. I rinsed myself from chlorine. But, I guess it did not help. Hahaha! We ate breakfast and took some rest. Finally, we waved to Tagaytay.

For a stopover, they bought a little wishing well. It was cute. And at 10:++ PM, we smelled the 'fresh' air. with sarcasm. a lot of. Meycauayan, here I am again.
